"My job as an artist is to find beauty in ugliness."

for this one it was hard to get all the photos because when i would remember to take them when the lighting was good i would finish one part of my house and then move on, but then when i got to the other parts that light had moved and i had to wait another day to finish the project. overall i'm very pleased at how the pictures turned out, i'm no photographer so i was slightly worried that about the quality of my photos, but alls well that ends well! on the actual house i used a color pallet of yellow, white and a black, i mixed them together to make sort of a putty color to really help bring out the yellows in my pics, then after the first layer had dried i added some solid yellow and white and a lite layer of black on the string holding the pages together. it turned out really nice and i'm super happy with it!

The Time is in the *80s!

i'm glad that this project turned out as well as it did, color wise it is much darker than my original idea but it sends a very clear message. by using only dark reds, off warm grays and cool grays really helps to make the point clear to the viewer and respond with either positive agreement (mr.trijio) and those who may defend raegan ( a conservative substitute teacher i had) over all i'm very pleased that my first poster may piss off people, or make them really think about the politics and the discovery of AIDS.
