the challenge on this one was how to portray a crowd without having to individually drawing a person over and over again, the solution was to simplify a person to a basic shape which also helped to translate the message that he considered people with AIDS less then human because it was considered "a gay disease" which was corrected in time, but the fact that reagan remained silent while people were dying is still very much apparent even to someone, such as myself, how has grown up knowing about how AIDS is transmitted and that every one can get it.
reagan is only black and white to show how old fashioned he was in mind set and perspective i also drew him as an elderly reagan to show his old style of thinking.
